Since I installed the new version of Musescore, lyrics often overlap. I don't know if it is caused by the new font, or the size of it.

Oh, ok.
I use two screens, I moved MuseScore to the bigger one (to see better what was going on) and the overlapping vanished. So it depends on which screen I use I guess ?
Indeed, it is doing wierd thing when moving MuseScore with that score open from one screen to another, screens of different sizes, physically and x/y pixel wise, DPIs and scaling settings (here: 14" 1920+1080 @ 125% vs 20" 1600x1200 @100%)

Huh? Not in the PNG, just on screen, very strange, there was a big gap between "brea" and "-king"
This is likely a duplicate of #292217: MuseScore Renders text incorrectly on external monitor when scaling factor on external monitor is different, but I have no easy way of reproducing either.
