Play Voice 1 treble with voice 3 base
I have a score for a vocal with piano accompaniment. The treble staff has two voices and the bass has three. I want to hear Voice 1 only from the treble staff along with voice 3 only from the bass staff. I can mute voice two, but how do I mute voice 1 on the base without also muting it on the treble?
I could play games with switching voices around, but is there a way to treat the voices on the different staffs seperately?

You don't, not via the Mixer anyhow: Muting a voice is all staves or none

Is that a bug I'm not aware of then?
Because the mixer does allow you to mute voices on a per staff basis afaik (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/mixer#mute-voice)

Hmm, no, I was just wrong, it is a per staff setting.
So if it doesn't work as such, it'd be a bug.
To the OP: we'd need a sample score showing the problem (if there is one, I can't reproduce it at least)
Mixer won't allow this but you can right-click and Select >More >Same Voice and un-check Play in inspector.

Not really a problem; just looking for a simple way to select lines to play. I was able to swap voices and use the mute function to get it done.
Thanks for the suggestions.

No need to swap, just mute all but voice 1 in treble clef and all but voice 3 in bass clef

Right, I just didn't realize that at the time. Thanks
