Musescore 3: No sound card or Audio interface is detected in I/O.

• May 28, 2019 - 10:37

I install Musescore 3 in my Windows 10 and no sound. I can input note, but no sound when playing. I check I/O in the preference but all boxes under Port Audio is turned off. I cannot choose any of my audio interface.

Same problem over here. It's really frustrating and I find no answers online. Did you ever get to solve the issue? It would be really helpful for me.

I am using mac 10.15.7 My preferences look the same. - - nothing.
I have tried all the of suggestions in the faq. It worked fine. Now it just doesn't.
I can't seem to find any help for this.

Hi and thanks for replying. My interface is on and all audio works on everything else. Yet still nothing is available in the I/O window. I also disabled all aggregates, multi sound output, zoom audio etc from my macbook. I defaulted it to the internal macbook pro speakers. The normal default audio. Reinstalled the program ...nothing.

Reinstalling fixes almost nothing.
Try the Restart Audio Devices button. I don't remember if that one is in the FAQ.
Then hit the Toggle MIDI Input button twice. I don't know why, but sometimes it works.
When was the last time you restarted your computer?
Is the driver for your interface up to date?
