1) enter code name for example "C"
2) change that code name for example "D" from "C"
3) use "undo"
4) so MuseScore showing "C" as code name but when play music, MuseScore plays "D" code.

workaround:
manually retype "C" at code input

code name? Do you mean note name or chord symbol? Where exactly do you see MuseScore showing something wrong?

Title Code note remains previous code notes when undo code change Chord notes retains previous chord notes when undo chord symbol change

additional information:
at first I input "C" chord, MuseScore plays "C" "E" "G" as "C chord".
second, I change that "C chord symbol" to "Dm chord symbol", and MuseScore plays "D" "F" "A" as "Dm chord".
third, I undo previous change and MuseScore shows "C", but MuseScore plays "D" "F" "A" in spite of showing "C" chord symbol.
