When you use a duplet it doesn't count the duplets correctly. This song is in 6/8 and I have to work around it by using a quarter not and an eighth note, which doesn't have the same rhythm as an eighth note duplet.

Select dotted quarter as the duration, 5,., then press Ctrl+2, and get a duplet.

I can make a duplet, but musescore doesn't count it correctly. The piece im referring to is called The Old Mill
by Kenneth Riggs it has a lot of duplets and musescore just doesn't count it correctly it leaves an eighth not rest where there shouldn't be
Then please agare the score.
So you're saying that you followed Jojo's instructions and it still doesn't work? Look at this score and try again. If it still doesn't work then please post your score.
