In some piano scores, there are slurs coming from another staff or voice. Using keyboard can only draw slurs in one voice, but how can we cross them through voices or staves? The current selection method is shift+left/right arrows, but can't cross through voices and staves. Therefore we can't use keyboard to select correct notes for slurring. Can we implement a special shortcut combined with up/down arrows to expand the selections through voices and staves?

Workaround No Yes

The way to do this currently is to put all the notes covered by the slur on one staff - using many ledger lines if necessary. Then use CTRL+SHIFT+UP/DOWN to move the notes you want to be on the other (correct} stave. Alternatively you can do the cross-statf thing first before adding the slur.

The shape of the slur will probably look very wild but can be massaged into shape, including doubly curved (e.g."S") shapes.
