Musescore breaks audio of system upon opening
When I open Musescore, every sound that plays inside and outside the program turns into very loud white noise that only appears on the right channel, with YouTube videos specifically causing a beeping sound whenever they are paused. This does not stop even after closing Musescore, only after restarting. This problem is exclusive to at least 3.6.2, as installing 3.6.1 instead resolves the issue.

Interestingly enough there are zero changes in MuseScore between 3.6.1 and 3.6.2 with regard to audio handling (see release notes )

I guess it's possible that the act of uninstalling removed some no-longer-needed DLL that was causing a conflict. And if so, perhaps uninstalling 3.6.1 and installing 3.6.2 would work just as well.
This is happening to me too, in musescore 4.0. May I ask, how did you solve your problem?
