Where can I find a realistic trumpet soundfont?
I'm looking for a good trumpet soundfont. I just think the default trumpet sound in musescore doesn't sound the way I'd like it to sound.

very interesting, but i think it would make more sense to tell what you like your trumpet to sound like.
Indeed, the question is, do you want your trumpet to sound more like a section player or a soloist? If the latter, more like Maurice Andre, Rafael Mendez, Miles Davis, Maynard Ferguson, Herb Alpert, or Louis Armstrong? Very different sounds from very different players!

I would like it to sound like a section, more specifically, a marching band section.

Instead of Trumpet, try Brass Section.

Indeed, the individual instruments in a General MIDI soundfont are just that - individual instruments. There is no entire "trumpet section" sample, but there is the "brass section" as notated. If you do a web search for
trumpet section soundfont" you'll probably find some specialty soundfonts that have that.

I tried that out, and it sounds more like just trombones. I want trumpets.

actually Bedjka's sf2 is a mix of Pets and Bones.
i split the Intruments into two Presets.
it is a strange built soundfont, with volume processed stereo (ukh!) samples.
