MS places two notes of the same pitch belonging to different voices on the same ledger line. In MS3, I could just click to select the voice 1 note or Ctrl+click to select the voice 2 note. Now it always selects only the voice 2 note by default, which makes it impossible to bind lyrics to the first voice, for example, since I just can't select the voice 1 note. Clicking on the voice 2 panel button simply makes the voice 1 note a voice 2 note, so it's not a solution or a workaround. If this is a bug, please fix it. If this was an intentional change for MS4, then please reconsider the decision, since the simplicity of click-selecting notes in different voices is a massive time-saver and advantage of MuseScore over any other notation software.

Workaround No Yes

See https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/10225 - this is known and hopefully will be addressed before release.

Meanwhile, the simplest workaround is to use keyboard shortcuts to get there. For instance, with a voice 2 note selected, Atl+Up moves you to voice 1 - or Alt+Down to go from one 1 to 2. Same shortcut to move further up & down a chord or staves, BTW. Or, use Alt+Left/Right to navigate element by element. Or select a different note in the desired voice then use left/right cursors to move to the one you want.
