time signatures not working
im writing a piece in 9/8 but sometimes there will randomly be some measures with an extra eight note throwing everything off balance

Likely you accidentally got into insert mode?

Or held CTRL+SHIFT while entering a note?
Or maybe you tried a PDF import that inserted the extra beats? Anyhow, Ctrl+Delete removes them And if you need further assistance, please attach your score and describe the problem in more detail.
