Random but frequent crashing with no apparent reason

Hi have a Surface Pro 7 i7 with Windows 10. MS4 crashed without any reason 2 minutes from opening. It was while I was inputting some note. It managed to recover my file and I started again, and it crashed after few bars (I would say after 4-5 mins). This time it didn't even recover the file. In fact, the file seemed to be corrupt as it can't open it again. This seems really serious and, for now, I am just going to leave MS4 alone.
I have tried to reproduce this but unfortunately I haven't managed. When it crashed the second time I was adding a few Gs one after the other, but doing that didn't crash it subsequently.
I did find other people having the same problem: https://musescore.org/en/node/338227 a commentator in that thread also said they have a Surface Pro.
