Position of loop playback markers don't get updated

On a windows comp:

Open a new score and put in some notes
Select some measures (measures 1-6 in the example) and hit the loop playback toggle
Select a note, a rest or a measure separator somewhere within the playback loop, hit enter
See in the attached file what happens. The playback loop keeps playing measures 1-6.

Thanks for reporting!

Here on MacOS I'd also noticed in MuseScore 4.0.1 when I make a selection after enabling loop playback the current selection fails to become the current loop. Flags don't update (old problem) and the loop doesn't play.

For instance:

• I select M3-M4.
• Enable the Loop button in the Toolbar.
• Press play

Result:
• MuseScore Loops M3-M4

• Then select M1 - M2
• Press play

Result:
• MuseScore fails to update the Loop Flags to M1- M2 (the current selection)
• No loop plays ... even when playback reaches M3-M4 which is still surrounded by the loop markers,

In MS3 loop playback applied to the current selection. However the flags failed to update on select, and updated belatedly on Play.

I preferred the MS3 behavior ... that Loop Playback applied to the current selection.
