Superscript
MuseScore 3 has a toolbar at the bottom that allows for formatting text; it's missing in MuseScore 4 (at least by default), and I can't seem to find anything in the menus.
As for my immediate need, I am trying to note a partial barre with superscript for the strings to be barred.

Try this:
- select the text you wish to superscript
- in the left panel, go to "Properties"
- click on "More..." (at the bottom of the panel)
- at the right end of the first line of the "More..." popup, click on the A2 (the one with the superscript "2")

Thanks. At some point I must have closed the properties panel, making it even harder on myself!
As such, I had to go to the menu bar and select "View" first to make the properties panel show up.

I had to go to the menu bar and select "View" [ > Properties] first to make the properties panel show up
It's quicker just to use the shortcut key F8 to reveal or hide the Properties panel.
