Trying to zoom with scroll wheel (mouse): no response. Trying to zoom with keyborad commands: no response. An why. oh why, oh why is it not possible to add zoom to my toolbar? SUPER annoying.

And why do all scores open in a new window. Can't work with two scores aside in the same view anymore. Why Why Why Why? And more and more and more.

I have worked with MuseScore for years but this version... It's beautiful, yes, but what does that matter if the program does not fuction properly??

And God help me - if these problems have a solution, why is it impossible to find. And God help me again - if you blame on Windows, I ask: why can't you make your program work with standard Windows?

I know - it's free... But you know, free s*** is just s***. And this used to be a gem.

So: all the best for you under the pressure this version must create. I really mean it. Tough times.

If the default shortcuts Ctrl plus + or - don't work on your specific keyboard (it's difficult to support every possible keyboard layout in the world!), you can customize them in Edit / Preferences / Shortcuts.

For zooming by mouse, make sure you are holding Ctrl when using the scroll wheel. I've never encountered a device where this doesn't work. You might need to clean the scroll wheel and/or keyboard with some compressed air.

For me it's the other way around, + requires Shift and doesn't work, but Ctrl+= does, so I've always customzied that. Maybe the default was changed?
