Measures
First, I want to thank all who have replied to my questions. You've been a big help.
I have seen in some songs, especially in hymnals, where a measure is divided in half. The first half is the last measure of a system and the second half is the beginning of the next measure. I know how to split measures, but this will leave a bar line. The split measures I refer to are open, no bar lines. Is there any way to do this?
Currently I put the measure on the next live and do not split it. I hope my explanation is clear enough,
Also, I have questions concerning hyphens. I have seen in some songs the lyricist put a hyphen between words similar to putting them between syllables of words. But these hyphens are a little more bold. I don't know why this is done, but is there a way to do this with Musescore?
Currently I just substitute a comma.

For your first question See https://handbook.musescore.org/notation/rhythm-meter-and-measures/picku…
It is usually more productive if you keep each thread to a single questions. Otherwise someone answers one half and others then pass by believing your problem has been dealt with. Hopefully someone will not pass bay and answer the second half of your post.

Yeah, I should have put the second question on a different post. My question concerning the first post is; How do I make it so there is no bar line but they remain open to show they are the same measure?

Click the barline and deactivate "Visible" in the Properties. I.e. repeat for each piece of the barline.

Thank you, It worked great.
In Lyrictext you can add hyphens (which are not used as a divider) via Ctrl. Hyphen (Ctrl.-). Then you may mark the hyphen and assign different font, different attribute (i.e. Bold?!), different size via Properties. Is it that what you are looking for?
