Deactivating sound in response to MIDI command
Hi!
I´m using a synthesiser as a controller to type the notes on MuseScore. But I prefer to hear the synth sound when I type the notes, without the soundfont response. Can I deactivate the MuseScore´s internal sound when typing the notes and yet hearing it when clicking play?

This is implemented in 2.0 nightly build (4130):
1) 'Preferences'.
2) 'Note Entry'.
3) Disable 'Play Note While Editing'.

The option is also available in MuseScore 1.0 at the same place but I'm not sure it works for MIDI input.
Chen Lung, did you test this with a MIDI keyboard in the nightly?

You're right - it's in 1.0 too.

It does not work. The best way to disable sound is to reduce the volume to 0 in Display -> Synthesizer.
Any improvement on that problem in a future upgrade?
