Harp pedal diagram
I'm confused by the instructions at https://musescore.org/en/project/harp-pedal-diagram-musescore-20
It says:
Put pedal_diagram.qml into your MuseScore2/Plugins directory
OK
Use the Plugin Manager to enable the pedal_diagram
How do I do that? I can bring out the Plugin Manager in Musescore, and there is a list with the Pedal_diagram on it but if I highlight it nothing happens. If I highlight it and click on OK, nothing happens. If I double click on it, nothing happens. What am I supposed to do?
Then it says:
Install Harpfont.tff.
Where do I find this file? What folder on my PC should I install it in?
Also, that page has a file attachment pedal-diagram.png. What am I supposed to do with it?

You need to make sure the checkbox is checked, then hit OK. Now the plugin is enabled, and you can run it by going to the Plugins menu again.
As for the font, it's in the ZIP file you donwloaded. The other attachment is just the image that appears in the description there on the web page for the plugin; you don't need it.
Harpfont.ttf: in the zip file (harp_pedal-v2.zip) at the bottom of the page you are linking to.

Thanks, those advices make it work. (And I install the font just by double clicking on the name and W10 does it.)
I'm stuck on how to put the plug into the plugin directory. I found the harp_pedal_diagram.qml and downloaded it. The directions in the handbook say: On Windows, new plugins should be installed into %HOMEPATH%\Documents\MuseScore3\Plugins. Alternatively, specify a different folder in MuseScore's Preferences. Can you explain how to get the plug in to the plug in manager? Thank you.

I'm sorry, I don't know what it means. I have the download in a folder. What do I do with it now?

Is %HOMEPATH% somewhere in Musescore? Where do I find that? (Thanks for your patience- have never installed a plug in before)

It is on your PC

%HOMEPATH% is just fancy computer-speak for the usual place where all your files are. You don’t need to do anything special to find it, just open your Documents folder normally. Then find MuseScore3/Plugins underneath that, and put the plugin there.

Thank you for bearing with me- I believe I put the plugin to the plugin file on my PC. I just don't know where to go from there. How do I now get it into the Plugin Manager in Musescore?

If your plugin is in the correct folder, then just open the plugin manager from the Plugins menu in MuseScore and you should see it. If you don’t see your plugin listed, try restarting MuseScore.

It just appeared in Plugin Manager. I think it just needed a little time. Thank you both SO much for your quick replies! I love Musescore! :)
