Adding a Baryton to the Instruments List in MuseScore 3
I think it would be awesome if we can add a Baryton to the Instruments List in MuseScore 3. It will be placed in the "Early Music" Section.
The range will be the same as a Viola Da Gamba, but from D2 to A5 instead of A1 to A5.
The sounds will be Cello for Baryton Arco, Dulcimer for Baryton Plucked or Pizzicato, and Strings Tremolo for Baryton Tremolo.
For those of you who don't know what a Baryton is, here are 2 Video Tutorials on YouTube that you can watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZApJANZjl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38TV03oReJw
I hope it will be added soon when MuseScore 3 comes!
Comments
Surely not critical, no patch yet available and such a patch would apply to 2.2 too
F clef, 6 strings, 13 frets, like Viola da Gamba? Tablature needed too?
"Bary." as the short instrument name?
See https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/3348 (no tablature yet)

Yep! Bary is the short term for "Baryton," or "Viola Da Gamba."
