Thank you, but it still captures MIDI input. My Pianoteq 5 program (piano emulator) doesn't respond when I open it AFTER MuseScore 2.

You could try Edit / Preferences / I/O and deselecting all devices. Also, try turning on the keyboard after starting MuseScore, which is normally backwards but might help in your situation. But sounds like maybe an issue also with Pianoteq?
