Inserting repeat bar line in the middle of a measure
Good Morning Everyone,
Hope you are having a great day. I am writing a score and having difficulty in placing a repeat bar line in the middle of a measure. Is this something that you are able to help with? Thank you for any help.

Day is okay ;-).
Split the measure before the note to insert the repeat bar line, see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/measure-operations#split-measure
Select the first note after the repeat and use edit->measure->split measure before selected note. You can then put the repeat in the first part of the measure. Right click the second part of the measure, select measure properties and check exclude from count (so measure numbers will be correct).

@rabn: for excluding from measure count see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/measure-operations#properties

This is fine for printing out the score, but totally messes up the metronome count in music minus 1 practice. The repeat bar object must have an attribute that causes it to grab the metronome during playback, and there certainly must be a way to set that attribute's value to "don't tick". How to do it?
THAT was fast! What a great community.

This is the usual modus operandi here :-)
