Rests
How do you get rid of faded rests entirely? When I delete a rest from a section that isn't necessary, there is a faded rest left behind to indicate that it is still secretly there. I want to get rid of this so I doesn't appear on my printed scores. Help please?

You can't delete voice 1 rests, just make them invisible. Those won't print.
In this case make them visible, then same duration as the voice 2 rests, then make the voice 2 rests invisible, that will result in the voice 1 rests to be vertically centered to the measure.

Yes. Well, these are the buttons to enable voice input.

As said, anyway, those greyed/faded rests won't print.
But if you want to hide them completely on your score: menu "View" -> Untick "Show invisible"
