A random auditory glitch happens when I am working on a score in the developer and all of the notes are immediately transformed into portals of the damned screams from hell. Has this happened to anybody else, and does anyone know how to fix it?

I've never heard anything quite like that :-). In order to understand and investigate, we would need you to attach the score you are having trouble with, also tell us what OS, what soundfonts you have loaded in View / Synthesizer (Fluid and Zerberus tabs), what settings you see in Edit / Preferences / I/O, and ideally see if you can capture a recording of the glitch.

1: I am using the default sound font for violin, viola, cello, and string bass (I’m new to this program and have no idea what that means)
2: This happens with all my scores in the developer.
3: I have a recording, but for some reason when I select “choose file” and select the recording I want to upload, it won’t attach to the comment/reply.

Not being able to attach can have 2 reasons:
the extension isn't allowed, if so, zip it and attach the zip
or
the file is to big, and again the answer might be to zip it.

Do a web search on the term "dropbox" and you'll find plenty of information on how to create and account and upload a file and share it.

Also, if you are on Windows, you may already be using OneDrive, which also provides this capability. If so, just right-click the file in Explorer, and choose "Share a OneDrive link", then paste here, as I just did: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Agm-a8XFAOT_gb5rpjr0BrrLZF_0Qg

Not really, given we've never heard anyone report anything remotely like this. Even just hearing the audio is no guarantee we'll be able to tell what is going on, but it's a necessary first step.
