Is there a faster way to put a soundfont at the bottom of the list?
I use a lot of custom soundfonts and it's gotten to the point where moving them up and down in the list of soundfonts in the synthesizier is very slow. When I add a new one it takes instant top priority in the mixer, which breaks the playback for a lot of my scores. I can easily move the new one to the bottom but it takes a gruelling amount of time, as the computer lags between each row shuffle.
Is there some kind of internal file I can edit somewhere that contains this list as text rows? Because I'll gladly shuffle rows of text over waiting about 20 seconds between each click.

This is technically my fault. I should have been saving my custom list to the scores that use them instead of setting the giant list as the default. I wanted instant availability of all my soundfonts in the mixer but now I realize that was unwise. I suppose the smart thing to do would be to go back through all my files click "save to score" and go back to having only Musescore general as my default.
Wish I had known better in advance, lol. I was kind of winging it.
EDIT: Interestingly enough it's faster to just delete the whole list and re-add in the reverse-list order (with new soundfont added first so it stays at the bottom) than it is to wait through the lag of the list re-shuffling.

So, one thing you could try is creating a dummy score, saving the list to the score, saving the score as MSCX, then editing that. You could then the load from score option. Might be marginally safer than trying to edit a config file.

Good suggestion, but I already edited the config file. I made a backup first and the config file turned out to be an XML to which I could arbitrarily add rows to the bottom for new Soundfonts. I think I'll do it that way from now on.
Haven't checked whether it is recorded there, but searches for and look into MuseScore.ini

I'm not sure where that would be stored. I didn't find it in my program files. Thank you for your patience.

I found my MuseScore2.ini in C:\Users\Jojo\AppData\Roaming\MuseScore
But maybe it is in synthesizer.xml, which I found in C:\Users\Jojo\AppData\Local\MuseScore\MuseScore2

Thank you; it was in the synthesizer.xml file.
