When you open Mixer and click anywhere near the slider or part name, I believe that panel should change color to light gray so that you can know where you are. The patch name changes, and that's how I'm able to figure out which panel I'm at. If you change the patch, only then does the panel color change from dark gray to light gray. Thanks.

There have been some changes the past few days to the mixer, the update to be released today may fix this for you. When it becomes available, could you test and let us know? And if it doesn't, could you attach a screenshot or otherwise describe what you are asking for in more detail?
