When Importing the attached Midi file, Satin Doll 01, Musescore assigns wrong time signature 3/4 rather than 4/4.
It appears to be caused by one bar. Both Musescore 2 and 3 demonstrate the same behaviour.
Other Midi file editors show the time signature correctly as 4/4
Thanks

I suspect the issue will turn out the be something about how the time signature was recorded, whether it was reproduced on all tracks or only placed a 'control" track that contained no note events.
I get this message when I try to change the time signature once I have imported the midi into Muscore

If I select full score from bar 1 to 130 (3/4time signature) and conver to 4/4 time signature it works. If I choose bars 1 to 131 I get the error message. I suspect the error occurs at bar 131 (3/4 time)

I have discovered that changing the time signature on the MIDI import panel correctly changes the score.
