Every time I try to save any Musescore project or export it, the application crashes. I'm using Mac OSX High Sierra on a 15" 2014 MacBook Pro with a 2.8ghz i7 with 16gig of ram.

This is occurring with all of my .mscz files and as of today, Musescore is crashing when I try to open any file. I have restarted my machine and the same result occurs.

Musescore still crashes every time I open a file. My music workflow is completely paralyzed without the program working. Any fixes yet?
Try first: menu "Help" -> click: RevertToFactorySettings
Afterwards, if not solved, in order to investigate, we need to check with, not all, but by attaching one of your files (involved by what you describe)
I was able to reset to factory settings and now I am able to open, edit, and export to pdf, provided I use the "open" dialog initially, as opposed to double-clicking the file. This was an issue with all my musescore files, but I'm able to get back to work now. Thank you!

Not only did the issue return, but the "reset to factory settings" workaround, which I had to use several times, ceased to be effective. As of the February 28th update, when I simply open Musescore from my applications folder (not opening a file, just the application) it crashes instantaneously. I've restarted my machine several times and the problem persists. I'm running Mac OSX High Sierra 10.13.6. I am going to try reverting to Musescore 2. If that does not resolve the issue, I will need to find a new scoring application.
