No playback or synthesizer options
The other day I upgraded to Musescore 3.0.2 on a PC running Windows 10 and had no issues. Today I found my playback and MIDI options grayed as well as the "view - synthesizer" option. I've done a repair, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and I still have the same issue. Can anyone help with this?

What do you see in Edit / Preferences / I/O?

PortAudio is checked though API, Device, MIDI input/output are unselectable.
JACK Audio Server is unchecked.
I've hit restart audio and MIDI devices under Audio Engine and nothing has happened.
I've reinstalled MuseScore 2 and that works fine, but still have no sound in 3 whether 2 is installed or not.

I know this sounds lame, but how about reboot? Could be some sort of driver conflict. MuseScore 2 is 32 bit by default, MuseScore 3 64 bit, so different drivers could be involved.
Failing that maybe actually try the 32 bit version of 3.

Rebooted and tried with this version:
OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (32-bit): 3.0.3.5734, revision: 5a0be2a
At least I'm experiencing the exact same symptoms as before.

Hey, I think I'm on to something. I am using a JabraLink360 dongle with my Evolve 65 wireless headset. When plugging out the JabraLink360 dongle, musescore starts and synth is available. A compatibility issue with that particular sound setup maybe?

32 bit version did it for me. Thanks for the suggestion!
I'm having the same problem I think. 64bit laptop running windows 10. I also see in Edit/Preferences/IO that there is no PortAudo API or Device availabe. Logged a bug (https://musescore.org/en/node/283444) 3 weeks ago but no comments on it yet.
