Update - repeatedly
On my Mac I keep getting what I think is the exact same update to MuseScore every time I load it. I don't mind running updates. I do mind running the same one every single time I open the software. Have tried restarting Mac after download. Still no resolution. Suggestions?

We had a similar issue the other week, where e (mMac( User didn't install at all but just started the dmg every single time. Following the steps in https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/install-macos helped back then...

On Mac's Mojave, I had been running MuseScore Nightly (v. 3.1.0). Updates were auto-prompted by MuseScore when I opened the app. Now trying MuseScore 3 (v. 3.0.5) from website's download page. Fingers crossed! Thanks,

Well possible that the nightly asks for updates on Mac (I don't think it does on Windows), it can get updated multiple times a day (not on every day though).
Or are you talking aboutz 3.1 Beta?

Uninstalled the Nightly (which I think may be Beta), and reinstalled MuseScore from their website. All is well. No more issues. Many thanks.

I'm sure it was a nightly. They get updated several times a day. I've had no problems with the beta.
