Cross-staff triplets have the 3 misplaced
This is related to https://musescore.org/en/node/288738, but as it corresponds to 3.1, I start a new topic.
The following example shows the problem. The first measure contains the passage with some cross-staff triplets, where it can be seen that the 3's are misplaced:
The third measure presents the same passage without cross-staff notes. The 3's are placed "almost" correctly (almost because the second 3 should be a bit closer to the beam, but it is tolerable). Note also that the stems of the three notes of the triplet are not evenly spaced, and this is true for both versions.
The mscz file is attached.

Sounds like #285802: strange placement of tuplet number in cross-staff tuplets, which was supposed to be fixed in 3.1.
Marc Sabatella should look to see if he covered cases where part of a tuplet is on one staff and part of the tuplet in the other. He can then advise if he needs to reopen the "fixed" issue or start a new one.
Prior to 3.1, the triplet number position was completely bonkers. Now it's just subjectively not exactly where you might want it in all cases. Given the number of different possibilities and the complexities here, that's probably about as good as one can reasonably hope for. But feel free to open a new issue with a suggestion for a rule to follow that would produce better results; clearly this particular case is not optimal.

If you type [#290266] you will get #290266: Abnormal behavior in cross-staff triplets and the issue will be linked to the discussion.
