Inserting unnecessary key signatures in multi-measure rests
I have some sections with multi-measure rests, with chords entered. It seems to want to add the key signature whenever there is a chord change, which is unnecessary, the key of the song never changes and I haven't inserted any key changes anywhere. See image. I can't delete them either.

Please share the score. Which version of MuseScore are you currently using, which version had that score started its life in?

Attached. I'm using version 3.1.0.7078. I just created the score from scratch this morning.
Interesting note... I just reopened the score, and the extra key signatures are gone. So it must have been a glitch while I was creating/editing the file, but seems to have corrected itself when the file was reopened.

It appears not. I tried recreating the situation in a new file with some bar lines, chords, text and hitting M but it displayed correctly. Not sure what might have happened.

Probably you are seeing the result of #287432: Key signature appears in multimeasure rest after being deleted from underlying measure, which has a pending fix.

Seems related, although I never inserted nor changed any key signatures, but it seemed related to inserting and deleting empty measures and switching the view back and forth with M
