Musescore 2 files do not open in musescore 3
I have my songs that I wrote in musescore 2, but now I have updated to musescore 3 and they do not want to open. I do not want to lose my files, please help me.

Attach a version 2 score that version 3 won't open.

All the scores I wrote on musescore 2 do not open more on musescore 3, all of them.

If you want help, you need to pick one and attach it. Version 2 scores do open in version 3 so something is amiss. Without a score you will continue to not be able open your version 2 scores in version 3.

All MuseScore 2 scores do open in MuseScore 3 (but not vice versa). There may be the odd one that doesn't, and we'd need to see that.
As mentioned, in order to do more than guess what is going wrong, we'd need you to attach one of the scores you are having trouble with. Also tell us what exactly goes wrong when you try.
As it is, my best guess is you are attempting to open the backup file (name starting with period an ending with comma) rather than the actual score.

If the dialog window's top edge cannot be dragged and re-sized, try pressing Esc to close it.
