I have a similar issue where slur symbols I've dropped onto notes from the Master Palette which don't connect to any next note (they hang off the edge of the final measure, since it's a repeat and they are supposed to tie across the repeat back to the beginning) export okay but they are lost upon saving the file.

Doesn't see related at all, neither to grace notes nor to time sig changes. And this issue here got first reported for 3.0.

Here is a very similar problem (instead making a fresh issue):

  1. Apply a grace note to a regular note, give it a slur.
  2. Now later in that same measure utilize the command to break the measure [split measure before selected note].

Voila - the slur is deleted/lost. This probably is related to what's happening with time-signature changes, and hopefully is one of those "easy fixer-uppers" once the code is found out as to what the problem is. This exists in current in 3.3.x
