Add an instrument (shakuhachi)
Hello everyone,
I would like to know how to add an instrument. I'd like to add a shakuhachi which is a Japanese flute since I want to try to do a Japanese-oriented music.
Is it possible?

I would have sworn this was included already, but I'm not seeing it in the instrument list. Well, for now, just add a flute, edit the staff name afterwards, then use View / Mixer to change the sound.
What range, amateur and professional, what Gm sound (edit: I just noticed that Shakuhachi is a GM sound), what long and short name, what clef, any transposing?

I was just checking if it was there. Turns out Shakuhachi is not listed as an Instrument but if you go to the mixer and change the instrument sound there it is!
