To reproduce stopping the note playback:
1) Load an SFZ file with a loop lasting longer than about 180000 samples,
2) Attach it to an instrument,
3) Insert a note longer than 2 seconds,
4) Hit the playback.
To reproduce CRASH:
- Do the same as above with an SFZ with a loop like loop_start = 0, loop_end <= ~180000.

Hi, do you have a (freely-licensed) SFZ soundfont that I could use to test this? Thanks.

Basically, it was happening with any SFZ, I created a test one with a single wav file and it happened. If you can't reproduce, I send it to you when I get home.
Ok, thank you!
Did you find out anything? Apparently, loop playback isn't working at all within Zerberus. Check out this SFZ file I created based on samples from the Virtual Playing Orchestra. It is SND-ready.
Unfortunately I had to remove most of the samples because file upload here is limited to 4 MB. But all of them are here: http://virtualplaying.com/virtual-playing-orchestra/
inside the folder /Virtual-Playing-Orchestra3/libs/NoBudgetOrch2/Trumpet/TrumpetSect/Sustain/
I just renamed them to this name convention you see on my files.
