ignores some slurs
Hi, I have a slur that crosses the barline to the next measure and the program plays it as if it is two separate notes. Version 2.1, sample included.

it's the function of the slurs, but maybe you're looking for a tie?
You can update it if you want to https://musescore.org/en/download
Edit: I've been rereading some of your previous posts so I don't think you're interested in updating. But the more time passes the less users use the old versions, so it is more difficult to get help.
I'm gonna go see if I have the 2.1.

Yes, I misspoke, it is a tie, thanks.
What you have it a tie rather than a slure and I don't remember this problem in version 2.1. I didn't load my 2.1 version because it doesn't matter the last version 2 is 2.3.2 which plays it properly and the latest version and the only one that will be updated is 3.2.3 which also plays it properly. Upgrade and the problem will be solved.

That tie mark only misbehaves occasionally. In other places within the same piece it is fine, so the program can do it correctly. Do you know how to persuade it to fix it in this one spot?

If it only misbehaves occasionally that tells me there is something else causing the notes to sound separate. I have no idea what you could do to fix it in version 2.1.
My guess is the vibrato is fooling you into thinking the note is played twice.

I didn't put any vibrato in, though. And I have the same pattern elsewhere in the piece (in several places) and they play exactly as they should, tying the note so that it only sounds once.

There is a (slight?) vibrato embeded into the sound

Yes, the flute does that. But there are several other places in the piece (also played by the flute) where it makes a clear tie, not playing the two notes as if they are separate instead of tied.
