Crashing problems of time signature
I set a 1/4 time signature, but then when I intended to change back to 3/4, I crashed in sudden. I tried again, it crashed again. When I intended to delete the 1/4 signature, I crashed again. Howe is that possible to be fixed?

Which version of MuseScore, what Operating system, sample score and exact steps to reproduce please.
Why would you want a 1/4 time sig anyway, rather than creating a pickup measure (where nominal and actual duration differ)?

As I read this, I just happen to be looking at a score by Vaughan Williams with a 1/4 time signature (6 studies in English Folk Song)

While 1/4 time signatures do happen in music, the most common reason for someone using (or rather misusing) a 1/4 time signature in MuseScore is to force a pickup measure when the use of the time signature is totally unnecessary.

There's no 3/4 though as you claimed?
Edit: Oh, you were not the OP, sorry
However, I can setup a score with those instruments and those time sigs, without a crash

Yes, that score was in answer to your (Jojo's) question, why would one want a 1/4 time signature.

My response was to clarify Jojo's question. An answer from the OP would be nice because it's possible this is a serious legit bug.

The newest version.
1/4 can really help in shortening the space used, so that I used 1/4 in my piece.
Thanks

Again: Which version of MuseScore (exactly!), what Operating system (exactly!), sample score and exact steps to reproduce please.
And I don't see how 1/4 helps shortening space, a pickup measure would save even more, as it doesn't require the space for the time sig.

but now the point is that I can't even delete that time signature, and change that into some normal time signature.

Please share the score.

What you are describing does not happen in this way on a newly created score. Open this one: mesure.mscz
When changing the time signature, for 3/4, do you observe a crash? No. This means that the cause of the crash is basically elsewhere, corruption or other, and that it is specific to your score.
That's why we really need you to attach this score. Otherwise, we will remain in totally pointless comments and with an unnecessary waste of time for us all.
But as mentioned, the attached sample score or describing steps to reproduce would really be helpful to reproduce it for further assistance.
