404 Error on Download Link
I've uploaded a publication quality PDF of a score for piano.
The download link appears, but when clicked on, produces a 404 error.

where did you upload the PDF? I didn't know you could upload anything but a .mscz or .mscx file to musescore.com. Also, did you mark it private? If you did, you need to use the button on the score page to create a secret link to send to others, the normal link will probably give others a 404 error. If none of this helps and you are talking about musescore.com, you need to post the problem on https://musescore.com/groups/improving-musescore-com so the web maintainers can look into it. They don't normally watch these forums.

I chose the Upload option and then Convert a score from PDF.
I got the e-mail telling me it's ready, but the link provided just leads to a 404 message.

OK, so my guess was right. You'd need to mention this on musescore.com then, just like @mike320 suggested already

I'm just trying to convert one score in PDF format to MIDI, that's all.
