Project
1) create score.
2) Add at least 3 lines of lyrics
3) Try to add a dynamic marking to the last line.
Possible solutions would be:
1) Allowing lyrics to be anchor points
2) Make the dependent not on the distance of the anchor points but on the distance between the anchor points AND everything that belongs to them (e.g. lyrics)

Not a bug, might be a feature request
Add the dynamic as a symbol from the Master palette into the lyrics text.

Thank you so much for the workaround!
It is worth noting, though, that it is not that easy either, as drag-and-drop or ctrl-c ctrl-v do not work and the "insert special character" button has to be used (or F2).

Copy and paste does work for lyrics too.
You can also add lyrics to the palette for drag&drop.
I'm not understanding the issue. I had not trouble adding a normal dynamic marking from the palette to any note of the score, regardless of how many lines of lyrics there were. And if I add multiple dynamics to the same note, I can move them into position as expected you the cursor keys or Inspector. Can you describe in more detail the problem you are experiencing, and what specific new feature you are requesting?
I believe the need to position them to their verse is what this request is about.
Maybe it is about the vertical position of the dynamics in the parts.
That's what the other issue, #298374: Placement of dynamic markings reset when creating parts is about
I'm wondering if maybe the OP means, they tried to drag the dynamic into position, but because this moved it closer to the next staff, the anchor point changed? If so, that's just a known limitation and drawback to using dragging dynamics, not specific to whether there are lyrics or not, Solution is to not drag, use other positioning methods instead (which are much better methods anyhow).

If it is that, then one can start dragging and, as long as the anchor point not yet changed, press and hold SHIFT+CTRL. Now the anchor will not change even if you drag a long distance.

I'm sorry for the confusion! I tried to add a video demonstrating my issue but it didn't work.
You are indeed correct, the automatic choice of anchor while dragging was the issue and the SHIFT-CTRL should work fine.
