Fonts
Hello:
I installed a new font in my PC (Windows 10) and the font does not appear in my "menu" of fonts when I try to add text (lyrics) in my MuseScore document. I have a suspicion that the "font menu" that shows in my score contains only the fonts that were installed in my system when I installed the program... but I am not 100% certain if this is correct. Is there any other explanation as to why this new font does not show? Do I need to re-install MuseScore to use the new font? Is there any other solution?
Thank you beforehand for the help.
Ivan

You need to restart MuseScore after the installation. If that isn't it, it could be that you installed the font as a single-user font than a system font ("install for all users"), this has been known to causes issues. See #280244: User fonts not visible to MuseScore 3 (Windows 10)

Thank you for your response Marc. I did what you said (Install for all users) and now the font appears in my options. Previously I had just clicked "Install"... I was not aware that doing this would install the font for a single user, since it is the regular way I have installed fonts. Good to know for the future.
Problem solved. Thanks again.
Unlikely , but possible problem - In Windows there are two types of fonts (usually with separate file extensions)
1. True Type
2. Bitmap Fonts.
Musescore may only support True Type fonts ? as they can be resized and are more flexible.

Much more likely (and even confirmed) this is about #280244: User fonts not visible to MuseScore 3 (Windows 10)
