I am a regular user and just expect that MS will work without my interference in files. My version is: 3.3.4.:
OS: Ubuntu Core 18, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.3.4., revision: 7684abe
I don't know what "snap" is but I have it in my files.
Hm, must be unrelated… MuseScore 2 is the musescore Ubuntu package, and musescore3 (and musescore-snapshot) the package for MuseScore 3, so an upgrade of 2 will not get you 3 (deliberately, to allow for coïnstability).
I did not install anything else, just Musescore form 'regular' Ubuntu panel. At the beginning was version 2 and now after some up-dates 3. Believe me or not.
I uninstall this MuseScore which I had and then run your link. Works. Thank you very, very much. Now, should I install something or just work on this AppImage?

So is it an AppImage (where this should heve been fixed in 3.3.1), or comes from Snap, https://snapcraft.io/, or from a 'regular' Ubuntu repository?
Musescore came from 'regular' Ubuntu program panel installation.
Ok...
I suspect there's some Qt component missing

Then helpful is 'palette configurator' which is full of signs.
You mean the master palette, I guess

Few weeks ago I installed Musescore 2 via 'regular' Ubuntu program panel installation. Then, after some up-date, I saw Musescore 3 on my computer.

Hmm, probably a Snap package or something like that then. Definitely not ours.

For me the most important thing is to use easily program. Are there some chances to recover full palette?
Install an AppImage, and report the Snap problem to them, we can't fix their version
Let's try to reinstall. I see two Musescores in my install panel. Which is "yours" to install?

The image you show clearly is Snap, pretty much the first thing I asked you about...
