Downloading a score

and change instrumentation from Posaune to Tuba and Trompete to Trumpet. I've tried 4 or 5 times, crashes each time. I'm running on Windows 10.

detailed steps:
1) Download and open on PC
2) Posaune
A) right click on Posaune, Staff Properties
B) Change instrument, search for Tuba, click Tuba, then OK
C) Change short instrument name to Tuba, then OK
5) Right click on top, Trompete
A) same procedure except Trumpet, and name part Trumpet 1
6) Repeat on 2nd, 3rd and 4th trumpete - except never get there.

Usually crashes after I'm done with 1st turmpet part
"MuseScore.exe has stopped working, Windows is looking for a solution"
When MuseScore restarts, it is unable to reopen the file, even if I save after each operation.

email fullpython@gmail.com for more details more quickly, with my thanks.

Briefly: Nightly doesn't show problem

More details:

I tried to download the pre-release, and it appears to be the same as the official release.
Then I downloaded nightly, uncompressed and tried again:

MuseScoreNightly-2016-02-26-2031-master-a6ec8aa.7z

I can't cause the crash with this version.

Status (old) active fixed

So it is fixed.
But what are you calling prerelease? 2.0.3
And which version does show the problem? 2.0.2?

I noticed this score comes up in continuous view. That makes me strongly suspect you are running into a bug that is indeed supposed to be fixed in current builds - see #84351: Crash when saving with instrument name selected and continuous view. Probably the crash happens two minutes after you change the tuba, because that's when auto-save kicks in - but the crash happens only if you happen to have an instrument name selected at that moment.

This should be OK in both "master" and "2.0.3" nightly builds. If you can still reproduce with either, please re-open this, and hopefully give more details. But the steps above don't crash for me with either 2.0.3 or master, even after the auto-save, even if I have an instrument name selected.
