Change Instrument causes tablature tuning to be reset to Standard
MS 2.0.3 / Win 7.
If you change the Instrument in the attached file from "Classical guitar to "Acoustic guitar" the custom string tuning (DADGAD) is reset to standard (EADGBE).

Because that is the default string tuning for the instrument you just changed to, as taken at that Moment straight from instruments.xml, so this would be by design.
I thought so. But, if you change the guitar sound (acoustic/classical/electric) you would expect to maintain the existing custom tuning.
So, it looks like a workaround is the best solution in this case: Cut-and-paste the notes and fret-marks to a new custom-tuned Staff/Tab pair based on the new instrument.
You can change the sound in Mixer, that won't lose custom string data
