Inserting measures at beginning does not properly update key sig/clefs

I'm working on a piece of music started in another program, with one instrument and about 60 bars. Within that short time span I have several key signature changes and one clef change (which may not be strictly necessary).

I now want to add some measures to the beginning (about 8-12). However, doing so does not properly update my key signature and clef change. It's easy to tell something is very wrong because none of the original piece has accidentals and I am left with accidentals not corrected by pitch spell afterwards.

I'm on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx), Musescore version 1.0.

It very well could be related. I'd like to think this is a simple bug to track down and fix; anything else I can do to try to isolate this?

Further to this I can confirm that the bug reported 7th March 2010 still behaves in exactly the same way in the release v1

Also, in nightly 4217, Create/Bar/Insert one bar, crashes with a runtime error, when the insert point selected is bar 1
This under win XP
