Continous View Mode Instrument Text doesn't follow initial Font Size

In Continuous View mode, after the canvas scrolls to the left, the size of the staff line instrument text appears not to have been affected by changes made to the text size in the Text Styles Dialog Box. This might not be a bug, but by intentional design.

Open a multi-instrument score.
In the Tool Bars, set the view mode to "Continuous View."
In the Tool Bars view percentage, set the view to a low value, like 58%, so that it is difficult to view the names of the instruments, to the left of their respective staff lines.
Note that the color of the instrument names, to the left of the staff lines, is black.
Click on one of the instrument names, then right click and the menu item, Text Style.
in the Text section of the Edit Text Styles Dialog box, set the text size to a larger value, such as 18.
Click Ok, or Apply and Ok. The Dialog box will disappear, and you should see the canvas, with the instrument names in the larger text size.
Click and drag the canvas to the left (or simply click the play button), so that the instrument names are moved off the left hand side of the screen.
When the instrument names get far enough to the left, they are replaced with instrument names above the staff lines, colored in blue text.
The instrument name text will be a very small size, almost unreadable because of the small size.

Pretty sure it is indeed by design - a size is chosen so they don't interfere too much with the music. This was the result of a series of compromises based on user feedback - previous implementations handled the layout of the instrument names differently and caused either collisions or wasted space. See for instance #50011: Continuous View—part names overlap. no doubt improvements are still possible, so I'll leave this open for people to ponder.
