Shuffle Groove
Hello, my name is Kenneth.
I'm just wondering how would I write a shuffle song in 4/4 instead of in 6/8, meaning the song is in 4/4 but has a swing to it?
Also, with the tempo marking, how do I change the quarter note into 8th notes?

I assume you mean you want to write the piece using normal eighth notes but have it playback as a shuffle? If so, use the Swing text from the Text palettle, then right click it (in your score, not in the palette) and use Staff Text Properties / Swing to set the ratio to 66%.
To add symbols like notes to text, press F2 while editing the text - this displays the Special Characters palette.
