1. Open score.
2. Double-click object (e.g. note).
3. Click elsewhere to leave edit mode.

Result: Despite not changing anything, the asterisk indicating an impending save appears.

Using MuseScore 1.0 and 2.0 Nightly Build (4367) - Mac 10.6.7.
