Cannot continually tie identical chords using stem
1. Open attached score.
2. Select stem of first chord.
3. Tie.
Expected behaviour: After the tie, the notes in the second chord should all be highlighted.
Actual behaviour: After the tie, the C in the second chord is highlighted - it can't be tied to the third chord without selecting the stem of the second.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (4367) - Mac 10.6.7.

Ok - so when I want to tie whole note chords?
Thanks,
Sandy T.
Questions like that are better suited to the forum, but - select the first chord (while note innote entry mode), hit tie button. Selecting the chord can be done via shift-drag or keyboard shortcuts - click, shift-left, shift-right for example.
Thanks but tried that. While in note entry mode, it is impossible to 'select' a note or group of notes.
I thought I was writing to the forum. Will try that.
Sandy T.
The current behavior is that the stem is still selected. I think this is correct.
To continually tie identical chords, simply select all chords except the last one using a range selection, and then tie.
