the grand piano instrument in my score won't turn off the echo function. i checked the reverb and i also noticed there was no reverb at all, so i don't know what is going on with it.

it's now doing that for all of my scores, and also producing an echo for all of my instruments selections in the score.
the file is corrupted:
Measure 54 Staff 8 incomplete. Expected: 4/4; Found: 1/2
Fixed file attached
Apart from that IO don't hear any echo, so it got to be something on your machine, your settings.
You seem to be using Windows, so check https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings#instructions-…
You don't say what soundfont you are using, but it's possible the soundfont itself was recorded in a room with a small amount of natural reverberation.
If you think you are hearting something more than his, can you post an audio file showing what you here? But it sounds perfectly normal to me using the default soundfont FluidR3.
I am using the default soundfont FluidR3, i also did a factory reset like was suggested, and i guess that's all i needed to do and it was only on my computer that it was doing it on. thank you!
so I understand that the factory reset fixed it
