Create a whole note with 2 chords (img1) -> save -> close score.
Open score: the 2 chords are on the same position overlaying. (img2)

Using museccore 2.0 r5201

as already said :
1-create new score with a flute staff for example
2-add some notes
3- use ctrl+k to add a chord
4-move the chord at another place than the original it appears when you've created it
5-save and close
6- re-open, chord position haven't been saved. chord came back to the originaly position.
