It's likely that is a general system problem and not a bug in MuseScore per se, since this only seems to affect your system. Could be some sort of driver incompatibility or some such.
I have small glitch in sound when I run MuseScore. It is appropriate since MuseScore setups target output device. But after half a second, sound appears again.
